Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Attila Vegh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gojira Nagano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vegh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to duran duran - the wild boys. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Attila Vegh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gojira Nagano!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nagano lands with a slapping head kick.
Nagano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vegh shoots in but Nagano avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Vegh shoots in for a takedown but Nagano shows good takedown defense.
Vegh shoots in for a takedown but Nagano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Attila Vegh. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nagano defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Vegh.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Nagano tries to land a knee to the head but Vegh blocks with his arms.
Nagano has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Nagano's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vegh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nagano's waist but Nagano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vegh off to one side.
Nagano throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Nagano has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nagano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nagano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nagano's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Nagano duly obliges.
Vegh shoots for a takedown but Nagano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vegh is breathing heavily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nagano looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nagano lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vegh's sensitive parts.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Vegh looks for a takedown but Nagano sprawls well.
Nagano throws a head kick that Vegh semi-blocks.
Vegh drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Nagano lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vegh backs up against the cage.

Nagano clinches up with Vegh and pushes him back against the cage.
Nagano gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vegh.
Nagano is trying to break the clinch but Vegh has him pressed against the cage.

Nagano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nagano closes the distance and clinches.
Nagano prevents a takedown attempt there.

Nagano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nagano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vegh paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vegh crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nagano - the referee stops the clock and Vegh gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nagano. Vegh manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Nagano rushes Vegh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Nagano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nagano moves into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nagano scores with a hook to the body.
Nagano tries to land a knee to the head but Vegh blocks with his arms.
Nagano is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Vegh is working for takedown but Nagano is calmly controlling the position for now.
Nagano misses with a knee to the head.
Vegh wants a takedown.

Nagano's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nagano throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vegh is defended easily by Nagano.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nagano gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Nagano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nagano has closed the distance and engaged Vegh in a clinch.
Vegh is trying to drag Nagano to the mat but Nagano just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Vegh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nagano as he avoids it easily.

Gojira Nagano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vegh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Nagano takes the fight into the clinch.
Vegh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nagano gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Nagano can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vegh is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Nagano is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
