Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Juan Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Makleiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makleiz misses with a straight right.
Makleiz cracks the inside of Mann's front leg.
Makleiz swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mann darts in and clinches Makleiz up against the cage.
Makleiz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mann blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Makleiz lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Mann manages to break the clinch.
Mann tries to clinch up.
Makleiz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Makleiz.
Makleiz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mann takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Makleiz circles away quickly and effectively.
Makleiz lands a big head kick that sends Mann to the canvas! Makleiz follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
