Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Viinamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neal Monnelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Viinamaki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Jope Ruonansuu - Juodaan Vodkaa. Monnelli has chosen Legenda - Where the Devils Dance as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Neal Monnelli!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Monnelli with that takedown attempt.

Monnelli tries to keep at a distance but Viinamaki has taken the fight into the clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Viinamaki throws an elbow but misses.
Monnelli blocks the elbow strike.
Viinamaki throws a knee to the head but misses.
Viinamaki lands an elbow inside.
Viinamaki misses with an elbow strike.

Viinamaki wants to clinch up but Monnelli keeps it at a distance.
Viinamaki throws a hook to the side of Monnelli's head but Monnelli sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Monnelli throws out a loose jab but Viinamaki uses good head movement to avoid it.
Monnelli shoots for a takedown but Viinamaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Viinamaki lands a nice hook to Monnelli's body. Monnelli takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Viinamaki moves in looking to clinch but Monnelli pushes him off.
Viinamaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monnelli moves away.
Monnelli throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Monnelli has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Viinamaki avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Monnelli fails to pull guard.
Monnelli jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Viinamaki walks away with a smile on his face. Monnelli gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Viinamaki moves into range and clinches up with Monnelli.

Viinamaki closes the distance and clinches.
Monnelli blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Viinamaki lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Viinamaki stalls.
Viinamaki gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Monnelli.
Viinamaki lands a knee to the body.
Viinamaki is pressed up against the cage. Monnelli has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Viinamaki down to the mat. Viinamaki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Viinamaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Monnelli paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Viinamaki is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Monnelli's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Monnelli shoots for a double leg takedown but Viinamaki sprawls well. He's pushed Monnelli's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Viinamaki takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viinamaki is looking to clinch but Monnelli is avoiding it.

Monnelli is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Monnelli wants to control from the top but Viinamaki keeps moving.
Viinamaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Monnelli is one step ahead there.

Monnelli wants to pass the guard but Viinamaki is keeping the position.

Monnelli postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Viinamaki is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Monnelli, into his guard.

Viinamaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Monnelli is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Viinamaki is aware though and is defending well.
Viinamaki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Monnelli swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Monnelli has his feet on Viinamaki's thighs here. He's pushed Viinamaki off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Viinamaki screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
