Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Herrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Moya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vincent Herrera looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moya tries to clinch there but Herrera circles away.
Herrera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Herrera swats away the attempt to clinch by Moya.

Herrera closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moya to the mat! Moya manages to get full guard.
Moya keeping moving, preventing Herrera from controlling successfully.

Moya is pulling down on Herrera's head. It's preventing any offense from Herrera, at least for the moment.
Let's hope that Moya has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Moya wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Moya has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Moya lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Herrera!
