Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josef Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashley Buhr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buhr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manuel somewhat.

Buhr drives through with a takedown into guard.

Manuel is looking for a triangle but Buhr pushes his legs off easily.

Manuel has his foot on Buhr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Buhr works his way back into a safe position though.

Manuel has momentary wrist control but Buhr slips an elbow through the middle.

Manuel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buhr can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Josef Manuel will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

You can see the frustration on Buhr's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Manuel is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buhr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Manuel seems to be looking for submissions.

Manuel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Buhr is concentrating on defense, preventing Manuel from advancing position.
Buhr is trying to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Horrible takedown by Buhr or perhaps it was just good defense by Manuel which made him look bad.

Manuel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Manuel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Manuel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Buhr is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Manuel drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Manuel as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Buhr screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Manuel! Nice submission victory there!
