Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Gurevich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver swings for the body but Gurevich moves out of range.
Silver throws a nice head kick!


It looks like David Gurevich has been cut.
Silver tries to clinch up but Gurevich circles away and keeps his distance.
Gurevich scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gurevich dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silver. That did some damage!
Gurevich blocks a head kick by Silver.
Gurevich swats away the attempt to clinch by Silver.

Gurevich moves into range and clinches up with Silver.

Gurevich has had enough of the clinch but Silver keeps him there for the moment.
Gurevich tries to land knees in the clinch but Silver avoids the damage to the body.

Gurevich shoots for a double leg takedown but Silver sprawls well. He's pushed Gurevich's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The cut man is working on David Gurevich's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Gurevich clinches up with Silver and pushes him back against the cage.
Gurevich wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silver has him pressed against the cage.
Silver gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Silver wants to break free but Gurevich has control.

Gurevich escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silver throws a head kick that misses.
Silver tries a head kick but it misses.
Silver shoots for a double leg takedown but Gurevich sprawls well. He's pushed Silver's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Silver counters by moving into the clinch.

Silver closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gurevich to the mat! Gurevich manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marcus Silver showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Silver looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silver is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gurevich can't fight it off and eventually Silver manages to take the fight to the floor. Gurevich looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Silver gets to his feet. Gurevich looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Oh Gurevich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gurevich tries for a takedown but Silver circles away easily
and Silver counters with a big head kick but Gurevich shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

and Silver holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Silver manages to break the clinch.
Gurevich seems to have got his legs back now.
Gurevich tries to bum rush Silver with a series of wild strikes but Silver uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gurevich paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Silver counters with a head kick.
Gurevich attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Silver goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

A head kick by Silver - that's a beauty! Gurevich is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Silver can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
