Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Magno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Broqui Lesmar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesmar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: SMC Hoodrats. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesmar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Magno missing with a left hand there. Lesmar was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Lesmar slips a jab from Magno.
Broqui Lesmar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lesmar gets a takedown into half guard.
Lesmar thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Magno to regain full guard.
Lesmar wants to control from the top but Magno keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lesmar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Magno defends it well.

Lesmar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Magno is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lesmar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lesmar's back!

Magno is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

It looks like Broqui Lesmar has been cut.

Magno is working for a rear naked choke. Lesmar is not defending it well and Magno has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lesmar refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lesmar's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
