Dontrell comes to the cage accompanied by Sir Mix-A-Lot - Mack Daddy. bad boy has chosen thriller as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bad boy is looking to clinch but Dontrell is avoiding it.
Dontrell throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dontrell throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

bad boy closes the distance and pushes Dontrell back into the cage.
Dontrell tries a knee to the head but bad boy blocks it.
Dontrell lands a body punch in the clinch.

Dontrell breaks from the clinch.
Mack Dontrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
bad boy closes the distance and clinches up with Dontrell, looking for a takedown. bad boy pushes Dontrell against the cage but Dontrell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dontrell is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of bad boy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take bad boy's back!

Dontrell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Dontrell has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for bad boy.
Dontrell lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
