Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Against I. Carter is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Walkie Talkie - DJ Shadow. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter is looking to score with low kicks.

Minard is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carter.
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Minard pinned against the cage. Minard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Minard, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Minard against the cage but Minard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Carter might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Minard has got the better of the exchanges.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Carter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Minard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Minard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
