Luu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Luu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt
and Luu counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Luu.
Smith tries for a takedown but Luu manages to get underhooks.
Luu can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kova Luu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luu blocks an uppercut.
Luu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith tries for a takedown but Luu circles away easily
and Luu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Luu.

Luu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
