Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Check Mong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into the arena with Credits Please! - Skrypture ft. C.$krilla blaring out of the sound system. Mong has chosen I ain't never scared as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mong takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Brown misses with a wild body shot.
Mong misses with a shot to the body
and Brown counters with a nice uppercut.
Mong looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Brown 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mong misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Check Mong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mong is trying desperately to land a takedown but Brown is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mong.

Mong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brown did well to prevent Mong getting side control.
Brown is trying to maintain the position but Mong is very close to passing his half guard.
Mong working over Brown with some ground and pound. Brown looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Mong wants to work for an arm triangle but Brown is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mong looks to land a strike but Brown avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Mong thows a big elbow that misses.

and Brown counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
