The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baduk throws a lazy right hand but Fights sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fights tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baduk was well out of range. Poor timing from Fights.
Baduk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fights blocks a head kick by Baduk.

Fights gets a clinch.
Baduk tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fights just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fights has Baduk pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fights pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Baduk tumbling to the mat - Fights dives into Baduk's guard.
Fights trying to control but Baduk is working from the bottom.

Baduk has his foot on Fights's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fights works his way back into a safe position though.

Baduk looking for a guillotine here but Fights defends easily.

Baduk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fights gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fights working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Baduk's head.
Baduk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Fights trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Fights is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Baduk looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Baduk keeping moving, preventing Fights from controlling successfully.

Baduk is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fights is pushing down on Baduk's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baduk is fighting to maintain full guard but Fights has managed to sneak the leg through.
Fights seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baduk does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fights frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fights scoring with strikes but Baduk is staying in there.

It looks like Sergei Baduk has been cut.
Baduk is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Fights looking to isolate an arm here. Baduk doesn't see it coming and as Fights extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Fights!
