Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edmond Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaisafa Masoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honda comes to the ring accompanied by Edmond Honda's Theme. Masoe has chosen Bang On by Boo Yaa Tribe as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Masoe parries the strikes from Honda easily there. Honda is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Masoe to escape.

Honda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Masoe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Honda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Masoe as he jumps to the side.

Honda throws a hook to the side of Masoe's head but Masoe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Masoe cracks Honda with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Honda crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Masoe - the referee stops the clock and Honda gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Masoe. Honda manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
