Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thery Sanon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Langer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanon comes to the cage accompanied by Singles Run. Alan Langer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Langer as he avoids it easily.
Sanon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sanon takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sanon tries a head kick but it misses.
Sanon darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sanon fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Sanon has closed the distance and engaged Langer in a clinch.
Langer letting Sanon take a breather here.
Sanon is breathing heavily.
Langer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanon misses with some punches.
Langer is trying to break the clinch but Sanon has him pressed against the cage.

Sanon breaks the clinch.
Langer throws a series of punches but Sanon moves out of range.
Sanon tries to bum rush Langer with a series of wild strikes but Langer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Langer scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Sanon wants to clinch.
Langer fails to land with a series of punches.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sanon wants to clinch up but Langer keeps it at a distance.
Langer throws a right hand that Sanon ducks under and follows up with a left that Sanon also avoids with ease.

Langer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanon to the mat! Sanon manages to get full guard.

Langer tries to free his leg and advance position but Sanon is retaining full guard.
Sanon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Langer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Langer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Langer thows a big elbow that misses.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Sanon tries for a takedown but Langer circles away easily

and Langer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sanon's guard.

Langer drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Langer seems to have locked his on tight now - Sanon screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Langer, as he picks up the win!
