Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
machto throws a head kick that misses.
Ferrara blocks a head kick by machto.
machto is looking to land body kicks.
Ferrara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from machto.
Ferrara takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Ferrara shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferrara not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
machto flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ferrara seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ferrara drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Ferrara is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but machto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ferrara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ferrara is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. machto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
machto takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ferrara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Ferrara is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt machto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Ferrara is trying to get an arm triangle but machto is defending well.
Ferrara wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by machto, who protects the arm well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Ferrara shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. machto is trying to defend but Ferrara finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ferrara takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ferrara is looking for a kimura here.
Ferrara is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so machto is just riding it out for now. Ferrara eventually gives up the hold.
machto takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Ferrara is looking to advance position but machto won't allow it.
Ferrara seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. machto is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
