Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roger Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naja Shankara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shankara has chosen Tabla Solo as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Roger Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Naja Shankara!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shankara scores with a nice head shot.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shankara.
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jones moves away from the strike by Shankara.
Jones stalks Shankara and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Shankara's face. Shankara staggers backwards, shaken.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shankara sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shankara but Shankara pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shankara stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shankara leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Shankara as Jones shoots in.
Shankara misses with a wild body shot.
Roger Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shankara sends Jones crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Shankara is motioning to the referee to let Jones up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Roger Jones has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Shankara sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shankara avoids it really well and circles away.

Jones tries to get into range but Shankara steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Jones! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Shankara scores the big KO victory!
