The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Impaler walks into a jab.

Rasputin connects with a looping right hand.
The Impaler closes the distance and clinches up with Rasputin, looking for a takedown. The Impaler pushes Rasputin against the ropes but Rasputin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rasputin throws a right and a left that both miss.
The Impaler is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rasputin.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rasputin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rasputin throws a series of punches but The Impaler moves out of range.
Rasputin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rasputin wants it to stay on the feet.

The Impaler throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Grigori Rasputin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from The Impaler.
Grigori Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad The Impaler.
The Impaler gets cracked there but stands up to it.

letting Rasputin counter with a right hand.
