Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brazilian Assassin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Pain!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Assassin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pain pinned against the cage. Pain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pain fails to land with a series of punches.
Pain throws a big shot that misses.
Pain swinging wildly here.
Assassin swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Max Pain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Assassin can pounce on him.
A nice leg kick lands there from Assassin.
Assassin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Assassin forces Pain back against the cage and clinches.

Assassin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pain throws a hook but Assassin blocks it.
Jab by Assassin.
Assassin scores with a body shot.
Assassin getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Pain swings away with a body shot that misses
and Assassin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Pain looks gassed!
Assassin throws a head kick that Pain semi-blocks.
Assassin lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Assassin lands a big head kick that sends Pain tumbling to the mat! Assassin takes a step backwards and waves Pain back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Pain is rocked!


It looks like Max Pain has been cut.
Assassin moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Pain is still on wobbly legs! Can Assassin finish him?

Assassin clinches with his opponent.
Pain seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Assassin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Assassin scores with the left hand. Pain knows he should have avoided that one.
Assassin lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pain at a distance.
Max Pain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Assassin lands with a thumping leg kick.

Assassin lands a big head kick that sends Pain tumbling to the mat! Assassin takes a step backwards and waves Pain back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Assassin fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Pain to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Pain looks to clinch but Assassin throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Pain taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Brazilian Assassin!
