Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimbo Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dakota Wolfe!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe connects with a jab.
It looks like Jimbo Slice has been cut.
Slice looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Slice is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wolfe lands a big shot that drops Slice! Can he finish him?
Slice is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolfe is pushing down on Slice's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slice is fighting to maintain full guard but Wolfe has managed to sneak the leg through.
Oh Slice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolfe slows the pace down in half guard.
Slice seems to have got his legs back now.
Wolfe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slice is just riding it out for now. Wolfe eventually gives up the hold.
Wolfe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Wolfe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Slice has left one of his arms exposed and Wolfe doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Slice screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
