The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Espozito gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Espozito isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gracie stacks Espozito on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gracie!

Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Espozito is trying to escape and Gracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Espozito is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracie! Very nice indeed!
