Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kaobon Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kaobon Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roger Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nelson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Nelson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nelson is pulling down on Killer's head. It's preventing any offense from Killer, at least for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Nelson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Killer won't allow Nelson to sweep him here.

Killer takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Killer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nelson on the side of the head.
Killer throws a series of punches but Nelson moves out of range.
Nelson looks to land a body kick but Killer moved away.

Nelson feints and as Killer raises his hands in defense, Nelson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nelson wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Roger Nelson.
Nelson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Killer.

Killer throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Nelson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Killer looks to land a combination but Nelson avoids it well.

Nelson avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Killer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nelson - the referee stops the clock and Killer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nelson. Killer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Nelson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Killer.
Killer is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Killer throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Nelson has managed to clinch.

Nelson unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nelson is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Killer is squirming around, avoiding Nelson's attempts to control the action.

Roger Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Nelson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Killer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Killer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Nelson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Roger Nelson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Killer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nelson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nelson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Nelson counters with an outside leg kick.

and Nelson counters with a good low kick that Killer was not able to check.

Nelson darts in and clinches Killer up against the cage.
Killer is trying to break the clinch but Nelson has him pressed against the cage.
Nelson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Killer's defenses.
Nelson lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Nelson prevents Killer from breaking the clinch.

Nelson gets control of Killer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nelson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nelson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Killer is staying active underneath Nelson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Nelson wants to free his trapped foot but Killer is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Killer pushes Nelson off looking to stand but Nelson dives back in and keeps control.

Well Nelson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
