Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Valor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Valor!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harris is on top in guard.
Valor controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.

Valor has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Harris off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Harris misses with a two punch combination.
Valor shoots in but Harris avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Valor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harris tries to avoid it but Valor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harris to the ground. Harris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Harris.
Harris dives in and grabs Valor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Valor pushes down on Harris's head and hops out.
Valor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away.
Brendan Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Valor.

Valor gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Valor lands a right hand.
A frustrated look appears on Harris's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Valor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Harris has his takedown stuffed

and Valor counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Valor trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
Valor tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard.
Valor distracts Harris with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Valor working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Valor trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Valor stands up from Harris's guard - Valor perhaps looking for a knockout.
Valor shoots in but no luck this time.
Valor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harris tries to avoid it but Valor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harris to the ground. Harris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Valor looks gassed!
Harris lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Tyler Valor has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris misses with a double jab.
Harris falls off balance throwing a combination

and Valor counters with a single leg into guard. Harris didn't expect that.

Harris keeping moving, preventing Valor from controlling successfully.

Valor gets to his feet. Harris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Brendan Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valor throws a head kick that misses.
Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Harris cracks Valor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Valor avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Valor scores with a takedown into Harris's guard.
Harris is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Valor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Valor prevents Harris from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Valor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now.
Harris wants to sweep here but Valor controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Valor tries to stand but Harris is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Harris's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Harris throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Valor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side.
Valor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Valor somewhat.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Valor. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Valor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Valor misses the body punch
and Harris counters with a stiff right hand.
Harris digs a good body shot into Valor's ribs.
Valor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Valor is breathing heavily.
Harris fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Harris throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Harris throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Valor stumbling backwards into the cage! Valor bounces back off the cage towards Harris, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Harris lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Harris celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
