Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mirko Filipovic!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendricks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Filipovic napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hendricks misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hendricks creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Filipovic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Filipovic wants to get back to his feet but Hendricks drags him back down.
Hendricks working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Filipovic is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Hendricks has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ground and pound from Hendricks seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hendricks moves into full mount!
Hendricks trying to control but Filipovic is having none of it.
Filipovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hendricks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hendricks fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hendricks sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Hendricks scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hendricks throwing strikes here but Filipovic is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Filipovic is in a horrible position here. Hendricks smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hendricks tries to control but Filipovic wriggling away.

Hendricks loads up with a big shot that hurts Filipovic! He's pulled Hendricks in close but Hendricks has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Filipovic survive? More strikes from Hendricks and Filipovic is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
