Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, bat man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Winters!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
man fails with the takedown.
Winters gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows man to score an easy takedown into full guard.
man drops back, looking for a kneebar! Winters looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Winters looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Winters!
man is looking to regain half guard here but Winters keeps moving and retains side control.
Winters moves into full mount!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
man is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winters trying to control but man is having none of it.
Winters takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Winters is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, man has managed to escape the submission attempt.
man tries to hold on but Winters pushes him away.

Winters is working for a kimura but man is defending it quite comfortably.

man tries to bench press Winters off him but Winters keeps the position.
man is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Winters off and has taken his back!

Winters manages to reverse the position and now he's in man's guard. Nice work there by Winters.
man looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Winters slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Winters is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for man!
Winters wants to control the pace but man is squirming around nicely.

Winters has control of man's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and man regains control of the situation pretty easily.
man gets back to half guard.

Winters prevents man from standing back up.
man is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Winters pulls his head out easily.

Winters with a couple of short strikes.
man is looking to get to half guard.
Winters is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. man can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
man wants to hold on but Winters pushes him away.

Winters prevents man from getting the reversal.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Winters dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Winters scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Winters cracks man with a good jab.
Nice sprawl there from Winters as man shoots in.
man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Winters pinned against the cage. Winters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters circling - Winters throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Winters lands a jab to the head.
Winters moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like bat man has been cut.
bat man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
man needs to keep his hands up - Winters had a free shot at his head there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
man avoids a punch combination nicely.
Winters swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Winters throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jab, jab by Winters - just one landing.
man has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for bat man. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Winters changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
man seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Winters shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! man is backing up but Winters catches him with a final right hook that drops him! man covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Winters Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
