The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kopite misses with a body shot.

Schrauwen forces Kopite back against the cage and clinches.
Kopite goes for a takedown attempt but Schrauwen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Schrauwen wants to clinch.
Kopite tries to bum rush Schrauwen with a series of wild strikes but Schrauwen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Roberto Kopite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schrauwen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kopite counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Schrauwen thinking.

and Kopite counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Kopite throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kopite misses the jab.
Schrauwen defending well as Kopite loads up on a big left hand.
Schrauwen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Schrauwen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Schrauwen fails with a takedown attempt.

Kopite is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kopite throws a right hand that Schrauwen ducks under and follows up with a left that Schrauwen also avoids with ease.
Kopite works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A punch combination from Kopite misses.
Schrauwen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kopite tries to avoid it but Schrauwen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kopite to the ground. Kopite escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Schrauwen is rocked!
Kopite walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Schrauwen drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kopite swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Schrauwen's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
