PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Unstoppable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Armstrong as Unstoppable shoots in.
Unstoppable shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Armstrong pinned against the cage. Armstrong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Unstoppable closes the distance and clinches up with Armstrong, looking for a takedown. Unstoppable pushes Armstrong against the cage but Armstrong circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gunner Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Unstoppable.
Unstoppable slips a jab and a cross from Armstrong.
Armstrong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Unstoppable is desperately trying to improve his position but Armstrong has a good base and remains in mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Unstoppable bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Unstoppable drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Armstrong dives on top into guard.

Armstrong is breathing heavily.

Armstrong wants to stand but Unstoppable is controlling his posture from full guard.
Unstoppable pulls Armstrong in close to his closed guard and prevents Armstrong from doing any damage or advancing position.

Unstoppable has his foot on Armstrong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Armstrong works his way back into a safe position though.
Unstoppable not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Armstrong passes Unstoppable's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Unstoppable pushes Armstrong off looking to stand but Armstrong dives back in and keeps control.

Unstoppable feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Unstoppable drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Unstoppable jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Unstoppable is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Armstrong is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Armstrong has escaped and now he's on top!

Unstoppable has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Armstrong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Unstoppable working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Armstrong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Unstoppable is tightening it up a little... Armstrong has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Armstrong reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Armstrong taps out! nice BJJ there by Unstoppable!
