The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Emelianenko!
Emelianenko on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Flenderson. Flenderson obviously looking to wear him down.
Flenderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Emelianenko stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Flenderson.
Flenderson tries to clinch but Emelianenko is having none of it.
A telegraphed right hand from Flenderson misses the target.

No joy there for Flenderson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Emelianenko steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Flenderson. That one must have hurt.

Emelianenko walks into a stiff left hand from Flenderson.
Donk. Flenderson catches Emelianenko right on the button with a cross.
Flenderson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Emelianenko.
A left lands for Flenderson.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Flenderson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Emelianenko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
