Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen has chosen Korn - Blind as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Allen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Allen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Smith misses with a double jab.
Allen moves out of range of the strikes.
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Allen.
Allen moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Allen throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Allen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Allen missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith tests Allen's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Smith manages to avoid it.

Allen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smith circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith is looking to clinch but Allen is avoiding it.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Allen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Allen takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by Allen.
Allen thows a body shot but no joy.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Allen scores with a jab.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Allen's shoulder, as Allen tries to avoid the shot.
Allen throws a right hand that Smith ducks under and follows up with a left that Smith also avoids with ease.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Allen content just to control the position here.
Smith is in all sorts of trouble here.

Smith is squirming around, avoiding Allen's attempts to control the action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Allen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Smith throws a right and a left that Allen avoids nicely.
No joy there for Allen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Some wild striking there from Smith.
Smith connects with a high kick.
Smith throws a hook but Allen blocks it.
Allen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Smith cracks Allen with a good jab.

Allen throws a nice looking combination but Smith bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Smith darts in trying to clinch

and Allen counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard.

Allen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Allen is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Smith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Smith has escaped and now he's on top!

Allen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Smith lands with a hook. Allen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Allen moves out of range easily.
Hannibal Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen scores with a body shot.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Smith uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Allen.

A close second round but Mason Allen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
