Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Olympus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valio Mashinata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mashinata has chosen Dinosaur song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Apollo Olympus has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mashinata throws a right hand that Olympus ducks under and follows up with a left that Olympus also avoids with ease.

Olympus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Olympus tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Olympus has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mashinata takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Olympus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mashinata is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Olympus is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mashinata looks calm but he's in trouble here. Olympus gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mashinata is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Olympus lets go of the hold and Mashinata can pop his arm back in it's socket.
