Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dick Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Markus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kidd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Joe Esposito - You're the best. Markus has chosen Faith No More - Be Aggressive as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd scoring well with a low kick there.
Kidd jabs Markus right on the nose. Markus blinks but takes it well.
Kidd tries a head kick but it misses.
Markus shoots for a takedown but Kidd saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kidd throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kidd looks to land a left hand but Markus moved out of range nicely.
Kidd throws a series of punches but Markus moves out of range.
Markus slips a jab from Kidd.
Kidd stuffs the takedown.
Markus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Markus swats away the attempt to clinch by Kidd.

A cross from Kidd lands.
Markus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kidd is fending him off so far but Markus persists. Nope, Kidd circles away and we're back to standing.
Dick Kidd has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Markus.

Kidd moves into the clinch successfully.
Markus wants a takedown but no success here.
Markus tries to score a body lock takedown but Kidd shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Markus has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kidd is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kidd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Markus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Kidd scores with a hook to the body. Markus takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kidd connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kidd connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Markus avoids the body shot from Kidd.
Kidd tries to clinch there but Markus circles away.
Markus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kidd tries to avoid it but Markus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kidd to the ground. Kidd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Markus slips a jab from Kidd.
Kidd scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kidd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Markus shoots in looking for a takedown. Kidd tries to sprawl out of it but Markus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kidd manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kidd feints and then cracks Markus's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Markus down.

Danga de danga de dang - Kidd scores with a four punch combination!
Kidd scores with a nice right hand.
Kidd works over Markus's head and body with a nice combination.

Markus is rocked!
Markus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kidd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Markus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A low kick from Markus misses
and Markus takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kidd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Markus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A left and a right from Kidd both land. Nice combination.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kidd lands with a right that hurts Markus. Markus looks to clinch but Kidd throws a short knee that drops Markus. This one is all over!
