Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCoy showed some decent athleticism there.
McCoy is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and machida reverses the position - he's now on top in McCoy's guard.
McCoy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
machida tries to stand but McCoy is controlling from the bottom.
McCoy throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! machida escapes and throws McCoy's legs to the side, diving into side control!

McCoy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

machida throws a right and a left that both miss.

machida slaps away a takedown attempt from McCoy, before circling back to the center of the mat.

McCoy shoots for a takedown but machida saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

McCoy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but machida avoids it really well and circles away.
machida displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McCoy.
machida connects with a stiff jab that staggers McCoy - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
