The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Farrelly scores with a punch to the head.
Farrelly throws a hook to the side of Uy's head but Uy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Uy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Uy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Farrelly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Uy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Farrelly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Farrelly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Uy has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Uy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Uy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Farrelly tries to avoid it but Uy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Farrelly to the ground. Farrelly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Farrelly stalks Uy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Uy's face. Uy staggers backwards, shaken.
Uy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Uy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Farrelly connects with a single shot there.
Farrelly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Farrelly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
