Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Luvzya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jesus Luvzya is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jesus Luvzya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Bridge!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luvzya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bridge as he avoids it easily.
Bridge misses with a takedown attempt

and Luvzya counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bridge won't be happy with that.
Luvzya tries to score with some ground and pound. Bridge controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bridge manages to work his way to half guard, despite Luvzya's best efforts.
Luvzya thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bridge is looking to improve his position.
Luvzya thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bridge's head.
Bridge moves into full guard.

Luvzya is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bridge is just riding it out for now. Luvzya eventually gives up the hold.

Luvzya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bridge moves into full guard.
Luvzya won't allow Bridge to sweep him here.
Luvzya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bridge swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Luvzya shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Luvzya thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bridge to regain full guard.

Bridge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Luvzya gets to his feet. Bridge looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Luvzya is working for a kimura here but Bridge manages to reverse the position and he's now in Luvzya's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
