Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arashi Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Greg Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arashi Yamada!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada lands a jab to Jackson's midsection.
Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jackson ducks right into an uppercut from Yamada.
Jackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yamada sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackson somewhat.
Yamada stuffs the takedown.

Jackson feints and as Yamada raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Greg Jackson.
Jackson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yamada defends it nicely.
Yamada clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Yamada scores with a jab to the body.
Yamada fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Yamada holds on and takes a little breather.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
A slow jab from Yamada misses its intended target.
Arashi Yamada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yamada cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson moves away from the strike by Yamada.
Yamada displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
Yamada stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Yamada.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Arashi Yamada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Yamada lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Yamada lands a really nice looking cross but Jackson seems unphased.

Are you kidding me?! Yamada ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Jackson clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
