The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sisoje takes the fight into the clinch.
Sisoje keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Strife's efforts to push away.

Sisoje's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
James Strife seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Strife is defended easily by Sisoje.
Sisoje keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sisoje stalks Strife and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Strife's face. Strife staggers backwards, shaken.

Sisoje is trying to land a reversal but Strife doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle.
