The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brutus shoots for a takedown but Hyrokkin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Brutus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hyrokkin.

Brutus walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hyrokkin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Hyrokkin lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Brutus backwards.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hyrokkin pulls Brutus in close to prevent any damage.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hyrokkin cracks Brutus with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Brutus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hyrokkin looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Brutus connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hyrokkin some visible discomfort.
Brutus tries to score with some ground and pound. Hyrokkin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
