Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gino Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go to sleep. Bailey has chosen The Plimsouls - Oldest Story In The World as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gino Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ramirez duly obliges.
Ramirez feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bailey's calf.
Gino Ramirez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bailey moves in looking to clinch but Ramirez pushes him off.

Bailey looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bailey thows a big elbow that misses.
Ramirez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ramirez is looking to slow Bailey down with leg kicks.
Ramirez swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bailey.

Ramirez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bailey's hands.
Ramirez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bailey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bailey takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ramirez ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ramirez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bailey if he has to take too many more of those.

Ramirez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bailey to the mat! Bailey manages to get full guard.

Ramirez is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bailey has momentary wrist control but Ramirez slips an elbow through the middle.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Crunch! Ramirez slams his shin into Bailey's torso.
Ramirez punishes Bailey's body with a nice straight punch.
Ramirez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ramirez lands with an uppercut that bounces Bailey off the cage and back into rage.
Bailey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramirez's waist but Ramirez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bailey off to one side.

Ramirez looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bailey!
The referee warns Bailey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bailey wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Ramirez has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bailey's body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ramirez connects with a nice short shot to Bailey's temple.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The crowd cheers as Ramirez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bailey doesn't seem phased though.

Ramirez's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Bailey takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ramirez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Bailey throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ramirez escapes and throws Bailey's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Ramirez wants to control but Bailey is keeping him busy.
Ramirez is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bailey is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Gino Ramirez showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Ramirez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
