The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edwards closes the distance and clinches.
Edwards using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gerra has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Edwards connects with a nasty looking knee right to Gerra's face.
Gerra changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Edwards fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Gerra has Edwards pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gerra pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Edwards tumbling to the mat - Gerra dives into Edwards's guard.
Edwards wants to sweep here but Gerra controlling him for the moment.

Edwards is looking to regain half guard here but Gerra keeps moving and retains side control.

With the fighters up against the cage, Edwards throws an elbow but misses.

Edwards escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gerra feints and as Edwards raises his hands in defense, Gerra changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gerra drops back looking for a leg! Edwards is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Edwards manages to kick Gerra off! Gerra jumps back into Edwards's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Edwards clinches but Gerra breaks the clinch

and Gerra counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Edwards's guard now.

Gerra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Edwards swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gerra works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Gerra moves nicely into side control.
Edwards seems to have recovered his senses.

Edwards is not content to let Gerra control the position.

Gerra tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gerra lands some shots froms side control.
Edwards gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Gerra thows a huge punch but Edwards dodges it nicely.
Gerra is trying to control the action in half guard but Edwards is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Gerra is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Gerra has control of Edwards's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Edwards regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gerra lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Edwards is squirming around, avoiding Gerra's attempts to control the action.
