Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Raul Pendragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dai Hard!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendragon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hard wants to sweep here but Pendragon controlling him for the moment.
Pendragon passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hard can't do much from the bottom here.
Hard is looking for a sweep.
Hard is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pendragon off and has taken his back!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pendragon tries to roll but Hard sticks to his back.
Pendragon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Hard.
Hard throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Hard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hard tries to keep control of the position but Pendragon is staying busy.
Hard controlling well, preventing Pendragon from escaping the position.
Hard throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
Can Pendragon hold on?! Hard is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Hard has good solid back control here.
Hard looking to hold on to the position here but Pendragon rolls and ends up regaining guard.

Hard throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pendragon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hard pushing down on Pendragon's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Pendragon is breathing heavily.
Hard is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pendragon!
Hard wants to control the pace but Pendragon is squirming around nicely.
Pendragon wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A nice elbow there by Hard.
Pendragon working to try and regain half guard.
Hard is landing with some decent strikes but Pendragon is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hard can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pendragon is looking to escape.
Hard is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dai Hard dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hard tries to clinch but Pendragon is having none of it.
Hard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pendragon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hard shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pendragon is trying to defend but Hard finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pendragon is refusing to be controlled, as Hard sits in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dai Hard.
Pendragon tries to close the distance and clinch but Hard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pendragon looks to land a left hand but Hard moved out of range nicely.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hard gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Pendragon counters by clinching up.
Pendragon is trying to stall.

Hard fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Raul Pendragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dai Hard.

Hard drags the fight down to the ground.
Hard wants to stand but Pendragon is controlling the position.
Hard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pendragon's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hard is looking to work some ground and pound but Pendragon has wrist control.
Pendragon can't keep his opponent in guard - Hard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pendragon is in trouble now - Hard has advanced to mount!
Pendragon is working to get back to half guard.

Hard has control of Pendragon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pendragon regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hard controlling from mount.
Hard punching from mount but Pendragon doing a good job of avoiding damage.

Dai Hard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!



Hard fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pendragon, pushing him back against the cage.

Nice takedown defense from Pendragon. No joy for Hard on that attempt.

Hard is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pendragon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Pendragon comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Pendragon looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Hard has had enough of the clinch but Pendragon keeps him there for the moment.

Pendragon is trying to stall.

Hard jumps guard and drags Pendragon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Pendragon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pendragon has managed to get both his arms back between Hard's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hard looking to control.

Pendragon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hard is keeping the position for now.

Hard has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pendragon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Hard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hard drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hard successfully pulls guard.
Hard wants to sweep here but Pendragon controlling him for the moment.

Hard working for a triangle but Pendragon defends it easily.

Hard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Pendragon postures up.
Hard tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pendragon manages to get himself to full guard.
Pendragon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pendragon tries to get out of the position.
Pendragon has momentary wrist control but Hard slips an elbow through the middle.

Raul Pendragon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pendragon keeps working.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hard might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pendragon kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hard seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dai Hard.

Hard looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Pendragon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hard is aware though and is defending well.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dai Hard comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hard winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
