Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luc Deveraux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ingemar Bernales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bernales is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hitomi no Jyuunin by L'arc en Ciel. Luc Deveraux has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernales is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Deveraux.
Bernales throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Deveraux stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bernales.
Deveraux blocks a head kick by Bernales.
Bernales falls off balance throwing a combination
and Deveraux counters with a stiff right hand.
Deveraux scores with a jab to the body.
A head kick misses from Bernales.
Bernales misses with a kick to the body

Bernales takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Ingemar Bernales has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bernales on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Deveraux lands a high kick to the side of Bernales's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Deveraux dives into guard, looking to finish.

Bernales tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bernales is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bernales seems to have recovered his senses.

Deveraux got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bernales has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deveraux has managed to get both his arms back between Bernales's legs - danger averted.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Deveraux counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Bernales finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Deveraux buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bernales looks gassed!
Deveraux misses with a double jab.
Bernales chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Deveraux can pounce on him.
Bernales takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Deveraux thuds a left hand into Bernales's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deveraux drops Bernales with a right and a left! Deveraux comes rushing in but Bernales regains his composure and manages to keep Deveraux in guard.
That has opened up Ingemar Bernales's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deveraux is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Deveraux postures up in Bernales's guard and throws a big left but Bernales blocks it.
Deveraux won't allow Bernales to sweep him here.
Deveraux showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Luc Deveraux.
Bernales shoots in for a takedown but Deveraux shows good takedown defense.
Deveraux fakes the leg kick and cracks Bernales in the body.
Deveraux lands with a nice combination. Bernales backs away looking to recover.
Bernales drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Deveraux leaves Bernales with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Deveraux moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Bernales shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Deveraux fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheers as Deveraux lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bernales doesn't seem phased though.
Ingemar Bernales's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Deveraux lands with a kick to the temple. Bernales shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Deveraux, right into the meat.
Deveraux is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
The crowd cheers as Deveraux lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bernales doesn't seem phased though.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ingemar Bernales's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Luc Deveraux!
