Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fuzzy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cage might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Johnny Cage Theme. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Cage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fuzzy Bear!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage loads up on a big right hand but Bear slips the punch.
Bear throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Some wild striking there from Cage.
Bear fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cage checks it well.
Cage checks a low kick from Bear.
Cage avoids the head kick by Bear.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cage paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cage swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bear keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bear swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bear misses with an uppercut. Cage saw that one coming.
Bear slips a jab from Cage.
Cage checks the leg kick.
Bear throws a solid leg kick but Cage takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bear.
Bear tests Cage's chin there with a solid looking shot.


It looks like Johnny Cage has been cut.
Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Cage moves out of range easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cage throws a hook but Bear blocks it.
Bear misses with a head kick.
Bear throws a nice inside leg kick.
Cage bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bear throws a jab when Cage was well out of range.
Bear throws a head kick that misses.
Bear moves out of range of the body kick from Cage.

Cage lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bear tried to score with a low kick but Cage checks it.
Cage looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Bear feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cage's calf.
Bear cracks a nice hook into Cage's ribs.

A jab-cross combination lands for Bear and sends Cage crashing to the mat! Bear follows him down to the mat - Cage regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Cage is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cage won't allow Bear to pass to mount.
Oh Cage is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cage seems to have got his legs back now.
Bear wants to free his trapped foot but Cage is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bear in particular looking to stall.
Cage keeping control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bear will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bear throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fuzzy Bear is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bear fails to land with a series of punches.

Cage lands a really nice looking cross but Bear seems unphased.

Bear tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cage is able to avoid easily.

Bear avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bear throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cage counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Bear is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bear throws a series of punches but Cage moves out of range.

Fuzzy Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Cage makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Bear uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cage.

Bear tries to bum rush Cage with a series of wild strikes but Cage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cage tries to close the distance and clinch but Bear swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Cage throws a lazy right hand but Bear sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Bear lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bear.
Bear finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bear takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Cage moves in looking to clinch but Bear pushes him off.
Bear shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bear tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cage was well out of range. Poor timing from Bear.
Bear will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bear ducks right into an uppercut from Cage.
Cage looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cage throws a sloppy head kick and Bear moves out of range easily.

Cage thows a body shot but no joy.
Cage sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Bear lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Bear looks to land a combination but Cage avoids it well.

Bear doesn't manage to clinch there - Cage circles away.
Bear throws an overhand right that lands on Cage's shoulder, as Cage tries to avoid the shot.

Bear throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cage colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bear as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cage is left battered and dazed whilst Bear and his camp cheer!
