PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Martin Jones looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Boss tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boss manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jones looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Boss walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boss throws a head kick that misses.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boss is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jones has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jones!

That was a close round but I would say that Martin Jones will probably get the nod.
