The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Demon III gets a takedown into half guard.
Michaels moves into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Demon III is looking to advance position but Michaels has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Michaels prevents Demon III from getting the reversal.
Demon III tries to hold on but Michaels pushes him away.
Michaels trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Demon III keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Michaels is working for a guillotine from mount but Demon III frees his head quite easily.
Demon III really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Michaels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Michaels has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Demon III's face.

Michaels is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Demon III doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Michaels.

Demon III tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Michaels wants to take a breather but Demon III is having none of it.

Demon III tries to improve his position but Michaels has taken his back! Michaels has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Demon III tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Michaels pushes Demon III away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
