The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowich has control of Bobles's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bobles regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Lowich is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bobles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lowich.

Bobles is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lowich pulls his head out easily.

Bobles working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lowich doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lowich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lowich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bobles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Ray Bobles will probably get the nod.

Bobles has hold of Lowich's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lowich tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bobles cranks the arm and Lowich screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lowich, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
