Hakkonson has chosen Blashyrk as his entrance music. Hakkon Hakkonson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hakkonson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Taylor to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Taylor postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor is looking to work some ground and pound but Hakkonson has wrist control.
Hakkonson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hakkonson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Taylor slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Taylor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Hakkonson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Taylor has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hakkonson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Taylor is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hakkonson pulls down on the head and he's put Taylor to sleep! This one is all over!
