Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Filip Wieclaw!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wieclaw throws a head kick that misses.
Wieclaw stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wieclaw wants it to stay on the feet.
Filip Wieclaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cause shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cause is looking to work some ground and pound but Wieclaw has wrist control.

Wieclaw wants to control but Cause is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cause is stalling here. Wieclaw is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Cause seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wieclaw has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Wieclaw decides to stand back up. Wieclaw steps back and let's Cause get back to his feet.

Cause slips a nice elbow through Wieclaw's hands, connecting with Wieclaw's forehead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cause has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wieclaw is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cause wants to pass the guard but Wieclaw is keeping the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wieclaw lands with a nice body kick.

and Cause counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wieclaw!

Cause gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Wieclaw swings for the body but Cause moves out of range.

Cause throws a jab but it's blocked by Wieclaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cause working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

and Cause decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wieclaw's guard.
