Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tsatsu Gomi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gomi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gomi lands in his opponent's guard.

Cuba is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gomi defends well.

Cuba working for a triangle but Gomi defends it easily.

Gomi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cuba manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gomi has Cuba in his guard.

Gomi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gomi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomi wants to control but Cuba is keeping him busy.
Gomi passes to full mount!

Gomi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Cuba to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Cuba shrugs it off.

Gomi wants to finish this one by submission but Cuba is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gomi.

Gomi goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cuba is on top in guard.

Gomi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cuba gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Cuba thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gomi is looking for a triangle but Cuba pushes his legs off easily.
Gomi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gomi goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cuba turns into him and now he's in Gomi's guard.
Gomi looks gassed!

Cuba keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gomi's head.

Gomi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cuba is aware though and is defending well.

Cuba has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Cuba got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gomi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cuba has managed to get both his arms back between Gomi's legs - danger averted.

Cuba is posturing up here but Gomi has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cuba tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cuba has to tap! Slick submission there by Gomi!
