The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Travis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lacaro tries to avoid it but Travis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lacaro to the ground. Lacaro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lacaro lands with a kick to the temple. Travis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Travis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Lacaro is refusing to be controlled, as Travis sits in half guard.
Lacaro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Travis's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Travis's back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
