The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Zawahiri throws a leg kick but Ruhmann checks it.
al Zawahiri chopping away at his opponent's legs.
al Zawahiri pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Ruhmann shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ruhmann showed some decent athleticism there.

Ruhmann not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

al Zawahiri makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Ruhmann scores with a crisp jab that stopped al Zawahiri in his tracks.
Ruhmann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as al Zawahiri sprawls well. al Zawahiri wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ruhmann gets slowly back to his feet.
Ruhmann lands a slapping body shot.
Ruhmann thows a body shot but no joy.
al Zawahiri misses with a low kick.
al Zawahiri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ruhmann just misses with a punch to the body.
Ruhmann throws a jab but it's blocked by al Zawahiri.
al Zawahiri throws a quick inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ruhmann avoids the head kick by al Zawahiri.

That's one minute gone in the round.
al Zawahiri throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Mikkel Ruhmann has been cut.
al Zawahiri tried to score with a low kick but Ruhmann checks it.
Ruhmann throws a shot from downtown. al Zawahiri moves away and avoids it.
al Zawahiri throws the kick towards the body but Ruhmann avoids it.
al Zawahiri keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A head kick misses from al Zawahiri.
al Zawahiri thumps Ruhmann with a low kick.
Ruhmann uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by al Zawahiri.
Ruhmann misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circle, before al Zawahiri throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Ruhmann's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! al Zawahiri lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
