Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Makke Hakala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Healer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Healer!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Healer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Healer wants it to stay on the feet.
Healer slaps away a takedown attempt from Hakala, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hakala shoots for a double leg takedown but Healer sprawls well. He's pushed Hakala's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Daniel Healer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Makke Hakala.
Well Healer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
